HANDMADE- ONE OF A KIND - SIGNED by ARTIST! This is Santa Claus (England 1889). This SANTA was based on a printing scrap published in Germany for the English market in 1889. This VINTAGE Santa was CRAFTED and SIGNED by THE ARTIST in 1998 - It depicts a happier and chubbier Santa than the normal Father Christmas of the time.

Each JB's Santa is an original mixed media sculpture and no two are alike. Each has a hand sculpted head and hands (where not wearing gloves) and each is signed and dated. The designs are derived from old drawings, old Christmas postcards, printing scraps and old books. No new Santa is started until he has been researched fully to be depicted as accurately as possible.

We only use recycled or artificial fur for the costumes because we feel using new fur is not the spirit of the season. This Santa has been preowned in excellent preowned condition.
